Who could have imagined that 3 weeks before Heart of Greed's release, we would have heard not only the full themesong but also the full CD version of the subsong as well? This is beyond insane. When Linda told us that she had recorded a duet for an upcoming release, I had thought it would be for Best Bet. Never did it cross my mind that the song was for Heart - let alone with Raymond! I was extremely thrilled at the news and couldn't wait to hear it.
I really hoped the song would be like Love Bond's subsong - soothing, warm, and magical. Appreciated (Sum Ling) is a bit different from what I had hoped or expected, but it's a good song nevertheless. I've always liked Ray's vocals, so no surprises that it sounds great in this song. I think he overpowers the song a bit during the chorus (when he and Linda sing together) because he's a more experienced vocalist. Linda did pretty good with her own parts.
I will translate the lyrics when I get a chance.

I have 3 Linda songs on my iPod now. All are full CD versions too. So happy. :D

we know ray has a great powerful singing voice while linda is the opposite. would have been better if it was ray with someone else or linda with someone else

Linda's first verse is shaky - perhaps too nervous to be singing with Ray. :P
While everyone evaluates their singing... is there an instrumental version? haha. I especially love the orchestra in the beginning. Gonna comment on their vocals after I understand the lyrics, but for now - I love the speaking and humming parts. :)

i already liked this song in my first listen. as expected, Ray did not disappoint (have always liked his singing btw). agree that Linda's voice in the first part is kinda weak. but besides that it was okay :)

TkN - People suspect that Ray and Linda record separately. Their schedules are really tight and different, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's true... I think that makes sense because Ray sings so loud in the song. LOL. I'm sure he wouldn't be so inconsiderate if he was recording with Linda knowing her voice is not that loud. Haha.
You're so greedy. :P You should be happy we have the full CD version and now you're demanding an instrumental. *Shakes head*

I thiught the "recorder" or whoever in the studio can adjust the volume and stuff and can make the voices blend in together better to make it more balance?
