Unlike Lady in Red, I don't own a copy of this CD. Honestly, I wouldn't pay for it. Haha. Most of the songs are old or released already. But it's still an enjoyable CD and something nice that TVB put out. Still, it's not even close to being as great as an original album with completely new songs like All About Men or Lady In Red. Please release an original CD again soon, TVB!
A brief review...
Best songs:
"Speechless" - Susanna Kwan - I love Susanna's voice! It's great. Absolutey brilliant song great for Heart of Greed with wonderful lyrics and vocals. I'm so happy there's a CD version of it now.
"Appreciated" - Raymond Lam & Linda Chung - Aside from the fact that I posted my opinions on this song already, I don't need to explain further, now do I?
"Forbidden Love" - Charmaine Sheh - Lovely song!
Good songs:
"I'm So In Love With You" - Bernice Liu - This song fits the Steven Ma & Bernice-led dancing series perfectly. The music at the beginning was very Latin and I can definitely envision it as being the themesong for the series.
"Several Days" - Bosco Wong - The only Bosco song I like. I'm sorry but there's something about his voice that's just not soothing to hear. The theme & sub of Dicey Business are the best thing about the series. I hate how they added some woman speaking English at the end. What the heck?! Totally ridiculous and useless... kind of ruins the song.
"Golden Strong" - Ron Ng - Didn't watch Men in Pain, but I like this song. I don't like the "I love you" thing at the beginning - kind of lame and out-of-place like how Bosco's song had some woman speaking. I like Ron's singing. LOL. [Comparing Ron and Bosco, I prefer Ron's singing, but definitely Bosco's acting.]
"Only Once" - Shirley Kwan - Loved it since I heard it as the sub in episode 1 of Best Selling Secrets... Shirley is a professional singer, of course it's a good listen.
The other songs... really didn't care for them. I have to admit I didn't listen to them in full. LOL. Haha... maybe some day I will.
Most disappointing: "The Most Beautiful Seventh Day" - Kevin Cheng - Can we say a replay of Life Art's dreadful theme or what? It's so slow and boring. >_< I almost fell asleep waiting for it to end. LOL!
It would be so much better as a duet with Niki Chow. Although I must say the lyrics are meaningful and fit the series. Still, I don't like it.

my fav. is "im so in love with you" and "speechless"... "im so in love with you" is a great love song...
im just ok with the other songs...
but i have to agree with your comments on kevin's song... i didnt even wait for it to end i just skipped to the next song...

My fav is too HOG's songs and Only Once.
Ok to me is Golden Strong, I'm so in love with you and Forbidden love.
I dun like Several Days, it's boring to my ears. Maybe I dun like Bosco's singing.
My most disappointed is The most 7th day too. It's too slow and boring, for sleepless ppl only.

i don't like Bosco's and Kevin's song the most. former's singing is bad and latter's song is so boring LOL.
have to agree Bernice's song sounds good, but funny how she doesn't sound as nice when she sings live.

The Seventh day song is really sweet, but Kevin's singing ruins it :( It's a pity... Seems like as time goes by Kevin's singing just gets more and more mundane. TVB should stop pushing people like Kevin and Bosco to sing themesongs because they are really quite mediocre...

anonymous - Lol! So true. Haha... Bernice is only good in recording. Perhaps the producers 'tweak' her voice a little. :P I'm just kidding.
It's much more difficult to sing live because you only have one shot whereas in recording, you can record over and over again until you sing the parts correctly.

kevin has a good voice but it just the song =P so slow an ugly LOL
the song 4 life art was good but i think the lyrics in canto ruins it all the original in mandr is way betr!

I agree. Susanna's song was the best one out of all. The Raymond and Linda duet is one of my favorites, and as much as I love Bosco, I really prefer his acting over his singing. Several Days has the catchiest tune out of all his songs, but the ending is ruined by the woman speaking; it's not my favorite Bosco song, though.

I think Ron has potential to be a good singer. He has a good singing voice. I even like his duet with Myolie for the themesong of 'Lost in the Chamber of Love' eventhough his singing was really mediocre back then, because his voice just sound so good. :P
But, Sammul is better than all of the male singers in this album except Raymond. Sammul can sure sing live. He sould have been the one singing the themesong for 'Price of Greed'.

kidd - I agree! The Price of Greed's themesong is not bad... but Bosco's voice ruins it. :\ When I first heard it, I hated it, but after listening to it for 20 eps, I quite liked it... the tune is okay.

I really like Kevin's The Most Beautiful Seventh Day. It's really beautiful and it totally fits its title and the series.
I think his voice is fine. It's smooth and clear.

hi. finally i found this website.. is this all the theme songs of TVB latest movie? i really like to watch tvb movie... not like taiwan's movie.. soo slow and not interesting.. most of it is like 'life in the dream's world'..
