Everyone crowded around Ah Lo (Bondy Chiu) with a smile. The only person who wasn't smiling was Ah Lo.
"God wants to mess with me! It's not fair!" Ah Lo complains.
"Honey, what is it? Our babies are healthy, white, and chubby! They're so adorable!" Ah Yuet (Michael Tse) says as he rocks a baby in his arms.
"We decided that I was going to have a C-section! Why did he make me go through the pain of labor again?"
"Whatever pain it was, it's all over now!" Nim Chi (Nancy Sit) beams as she kisses the baby in her arms.
"Which one is the older one?" Yuk Gong (Lam King Kong) asks.
Nim Chi raises her arms, "The one that I'm holding!"
Ah Yuet shakes his head, "No, Ma Chi, the baby I'm holding is the older one."
"Aiya! Don't tell me you mixed up the two babies!" Gam (Louis Yuen) exclaims.
Ah Yat (Joyce Chen) walks over to the babies, "Even if they mix them up, we can figure out who is who easily! Just take off their diapers and we'll know."
"That's right, Ah Lo had a dragon-phoenix birth!" Fa Kei Sam (Mannor Chan) grins as she coos to one of the babies.
"Second sister-in-law, you're really so clever! You knew you were going to have one boy and one girl, but you insisted that Ma Chi buy you a set of bracelets so that you can still get money off of your babies!" Ah Yat exclaims.
Ying Gei (Yvonne Lam) walks into the hospital room holding a newspaper, "Ah Lo, you've made the papers again!"
Ah Lo is surprised, "What?"
Ying Gei shoves the paper in front of Ah Lo's eyes, "You've made the papers for giving birth in the jewelry store!"
"What the hell? Isn't there more important news to be published?" Ah Lo is flustered.
"Don't worry, sister! The photograph is pixilated, so they can't see anything," Yuk Gong grins.
Ah Yat laughs, "I guess the only way you're ever going to make it to the papers is by giving birth in public! Last time you gave birth to Foon Foon and Hei Hei at 'Tung Mat Yuen' and this time you choose a jewelry store. How embarrassing!"
Ah Lo snickers and coughs, "At least my full picture is published and everyone can clearly see me, unlike some other people!"
"Even if we can identify the twins easily, they are still nameless!" Lam Sin (Yu Yeung) says.
Nim Chi nods, "Everyone must have a name."
"Ma Chi, why don't you name them? After all, you named Foon Foon and Hei Hei!" Ah Yuet urges.
Nim Chi thinks, "How about 'Gai' and 'Dai?' Together they mean 'all' and with Foon Foon and Hei Hei, 'everyone is happy!'"
"So the boy will be the 'Great Kam,' like Dae Jang-geum?" Ying Gei observes.
"Like Dae Jang-geum? No! My boy is not a girl! Are you cursing him?" Ah Lo demands.
"Well, if the girl is 'Kam Gai,' her name will sound like 'gai yan,' a beauty!" Ying Gei adds.
Ah Lo rolls her eyes, "The two 'gai's are not the same word!"
"Well, it sounds similar."
"No! Those names are weird!" Ah Lo refutes.
Ah Yuet considers, "'Kam Gai,' 'Kam Dai'... yeah, they're weird, Ma Chi!"
Abruptly, there's a knock at the door. Jasmine (Mandy Cho), from the jewelry store walks in carrying presents and a big smile.
"Mrs. Kam, congratulations on your birth! The babies are really cute," Jasmine praises.
Ah Lo grins, "Thank you."
"You are the first person to give birth in our store and because of this, we have gotten free advertisements in the papers. To show our appreciation, we're giving you the bracelets you purchased for free and we're also giving you this pearl necklace. In addition, for as long as you live, you will have 20% discount on anything when you come to shop at our store," Jasmine announces as she hands Ah Lo two wrapped boxes.
Ah Lo opens her present. The delicate pearls catches Ah Lo's attention, "Thank you so much!"
Jasmine smiles and excuses herself, "I'm glad you enjoy your presents. I'll leave now so you can rest up! Congratulations, again."
"I know!" Rose (Kenix Kwok) exclaims, "How about 'Kam Lok' for the boy and 'Kam Yan' for the girl? They both mean 'happy,' just like Foon Foon and Hei Hei combined means 'happy.' They sound good too!"
"'Yan Yan?'" Ah Lo shudders, "Don't give me nightmares! Do you want my daughter to grow up looking like Man Gwai Yan?!"
Ah Yat crosses her arms, "So what do you think we should call them then, second sister-in-law?"
"Considering I've been so lucky since they've been born, I think the boy should be named 'Kam Fu' and the girl should be 'Kam Gwai.' Together their names mean 'wealth!' Our family will become richer and thrive in prosperity!" Ah Lo beams.
"Good names!" Kei Sam nods her head.
"'Precious gold?' 'Rich gold?' All you think about is money!" Ah Yat comments.
Nim Chi gives the final decision, "No, I also think they're good names. They will bring our family good luck."
Ah Yuet kisses the baby in his arms, "Fu jai (little Fu)."
"Gwai mui (little sister Gwai)!" Fiona (Sherming Yiu) plays with the baby's small hands.
"Second sister-in-law, you said you don't want Gwai mui to grow up looking like Man Gwai Yan so you refused to name her 'Kam Yan,' right?" Ah Yat questions.
Ah Lo nods, "And?"
"So, you name your son 'Kam Fu.' Did you forget that H5N1's real name is Law Tin Fu? Do you want your son to grow up to be an H5N1 for the next generation?"
"Aiya! I totally forgot!" Ah Lo whines.
"What's wrong with being like me? I'm good-looking, suave, and intelligent!" Gam defends himself.
Ah Lo rolls her eyes and makes a face.
Sa Sa (Kingdom Yuen) and 11th brother (Lee Kwok Lun) arrive carrying Foon Foon and Hei Hei with them.
Sa Sa urges Foon Foon and Hei Hei, "Wave your hands! They're your new siblings."
"Hi!" 11th brother tries to persuade Hei Hei to talk.
"Ah Lo, congratulations!" Sa Sa smiles, "The babies are so cute!"
"What did you decide to name them?" 11th brother asks.
Lam Sin answers and points, "The boy is Fu jai and the girl is Gwai mui!"
"'Fu gwai (wealth)?' Who thought of this name?" Sa Sa questions.
"The person who is greedy in this room," Gam answers.
"Oh! Ah Lo's mother," Sa Sa concludes.
Ah Yat shakes her head, "No! It's second sister-in-law."
"So it was Ah Lo! You're so clever," Sa Sa winks.
Foon Foon and Hei Hei walk up to Ah Lo and call, "Mama!"
"Ah Yuet, come bring Fu jai and Gwai mui here so that Foon Foon and Hei Hei can look at them!" Ah Lo orders.
Ah Yuet takes Gwai mui from Nim Chi's arms. "Foon Foon, Hei Hei, say 'hello' to your new brother and sister!"
"Their family of six is complete," Nim Chi grins.
"Gam Gam! They look so happy! Let's give birth to our own set of four!" Ying Gei admires.
"Let's try for at least one first!" Gam replies.
The big gathering in the tiny hospital room was a picture-perfect moment.
