"You're free to go now," Nurse Hong (Sonija Kwok) cheerfully says to Joey (Bernice Liu). "I know the environment of the hospital is not too inviting, but why are you so eager to leave?" Seeing the uneasy look on her face, she smiles, "All right. I won't pester you if you don't want to tell me. You take care now!"
Joey bites her lip. "Nurse Hong, have you ever been in love?"
The sudden question surprises Nurse Hong. She shows off her wedding ring and grins, "Yes, I most certainly have."
"Would you mind telling me how you and your husband ended up together?"
Nurse Hong sits on the hospital bed with Joey and says, "How should I start? It is a long story! You see, I had a crush on my husband in the beginning. But, he rejected me. When I stopped caring about him, he realized that I was too good to him and started to fall for me. Of course, I wasn't going to be with him that easily, not after he bluntly rejected me! A girl's heart has to be won over, after all. Well, finally, he declared his love and desire for me and we just got together since then."
"So the most important part to love is the pursuit?"
"As long as there's genuine love and affection between the two of you, it will work out. Most importantly, the two people must be verbal about their feelings for one another and also dedicated. Without dedication, how can you trust a guy to be committed to your life's happiness? If two people love each other, but don't say a thing, then nothing will ever happen. That is what delayed my husband and I. Why do you ask? Do you have love troubles, Joey?"
"My lover and I, in the past, we always argued and had constant misunderstandings. I didn't know that he had done so much for me and kept on thinking that he was a bad guy. Finally, our misunderstandings were all cleared and we were together. We rode home but we got into a car accident. After that time, I lost my memories of love with him. The moments when we were together still existed in my mind, but his face was blurred. And so, his friend, who he told everything to, took advantaged of this and claimed to be my boyfriend. This person also framed my lover and I believed him. I even accepted his hand in marriage! Luckily, something in my heart told me that he wasn't the one. So, I left Hong Kong and went to England for a vacation and to relax my mind. I was hoping that time would solve everything, but it didn't. I've decided to come back now because someone told me that love is not a matter of sacrifices. The reason I was so hesitant in the past was because I didn't know who was 'that person' that did so much for me. I felt that I needed to repay him, no matter what, with my love. But because of this, I lost the essence of love, which is the connection between two people. And well, I got into another accident the other day and all of my memories returned. I'm just worried and scared that..."
"You shouldn't be! You're a very beautiful girl. Any man who doesn't love you is stupid. Anyways, I have to get to work. I wish you luck and hope that you can get with the one that you love. Remember, the most important thing is action and communication. Don't forget that."
["Ka Yan" Company]
It was still relatively early and Joey knew that the "Ka Yan" employees, besides Love Sister (Yu Mo Lin), wouldn't be in yet. It had been close to three years since she last walked into "Ka Yan" company. She wondered if things were still the same way that she remembered. She slowly opens the door. Thinking of Nurse Hong's words, Joey walks inside, with hopes and excitement of surprising and reuniting with Ah Nin (Frankie Lam).
Everything was still the same as during the time when she left. She reaches Ah Nin's office and feels the door, remembering all of the times she had been in the office. She looks at the clock and sees that Ah Nin would be at work soon. She grins and plots a surprise. She opens his office door and hides between it. Joey can't suppress her happiness at the thought of how surprised Ah Nin would be to see her, having returned with her memories and waiting for him in his office!
The "Ka Yan" employees begin to enter. The loud chats and laughter reminisce Joey of her times in "Ka Yan." Not only did she miss Ah Nin, but she missed everyone else as well. Joey can hardly hold her heart inside her chest as she hears "Ah Nin" approaching the office. At the opening of the door, Joey jumps on "Ah Nin"'s body. She was about to give "him" a kiss until she felt a soft body similar to hers and opened her eyes. It was not Ah Nin! Joey flushes deep red. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!"
Ah Lam (Linda Chung) blinks, scared to death at what had just happened. "Who... who are you?"
Everyone in "Ka Yan" runs to Ah Lam's office due to the commotion. They're shocked to see Joey. "Joey! What are you doing back here?" they all inquire.
"Surprise?" Joey giggles, humiliated at her huge mistake. Ah Lam stares at her in disbelief. Joey can do nothing but smile sheepishly at everyone.
