[Kam Family Apartment, Ah Nin & Rose's Bedroom]

Ah Nin (Frankie Lam) is looking through the mail that Ah Yat (Joyce Chen) handed him earlier. He opens the yellow package first. Inside it was a stack of papers. They were all legal documentations with tiny font. "What is this?" Ah Nin skims that packet. It was a contract deed for "F&B" company. It stated that the company was changing ownership and that he would be a co-owner for "F&B."

Rose (Kenix Kwok) walks into the bedroom drying her hair with a towel. "Chris, what's that?"

"These are some papers... saying that ownership for 'F&B' has been passed to me."

"Oh!" Rose wraps the towel around her head and walks over to Ah Nin. She explains, "Do you remember when I came down to Hong Kong? I was a week later than you and told you that it was because I had to take care of things. It was because daddy had signed the company to our names as an early wedding gift. This contract is part of it." Rose flips through the pages and points, "Sign here... and here... Oh, and here. Finally... here." Rose takes the thick stack of papers away and smiles.

"Wait! Aren't you going to let me read it?" Ah Nin asks.

"Chris, do you want to spend hours reading some boring legal stuff or would you rather spend it with me? This contract just says that you will become the co-owner for 'F&B' company... simple as that. Don't worry too much!" Rose comforts.

"Don't you have to sign anything?" Ah Nin is puzzled.

"No. I signed my parts a few months ago."

"Why did Mr. Suen take so long to send me these papers to sign?"

Rose shrugs, "Maybe he was busy and didn't have a chance to until now."

"He could have asked Carrie or another secretary to take care of it and send it to me..."

"Chris!" Rose folds her arms.

"What?"

"Are you marrying me because you want to take my fortune?" Rose sternly asks.

"No! Why do you say that?"

"You're complaining to me about why the contract that states you would have half of 'F&B' came so slow! If you're not greedy for my money or company, then what is it? Why does it matter if it's late or early? Either way, you will be Mr. Rose Suen!" Rose teases.

"You mean you will be Mrs. Chris Kam," Ah Nin smiles.

"Oh! Whatever!" Rose lightly throws a pillow at Ah Nin's face.

[Wong Family House, Joey's Bedroom]

Joey (Bernice Liu) was about to sleep for the night when her cell phone rings. She wonders who could be calling her so late. She reaches for her nightstand from her bed and picks up the phone. Her caller ID reveals the caller to be Ah Nin. Joey blushes and calms her nerves before she answers. "Hello? Chris? What's wrong? Why are you calling so late?" Her questions spill out of her mouth like a fallen water pitcher.

Ah Nin chuckles, "Slow down! One question at a time."

Joey flushes and gulps, "Is something wrong?"

"Much better. I wanted to ask if you started thinking about designs for Mrs. Li yet?"

"Mrs. Li? Yes, I have. Don't worry!"

"That's good. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good night."

"Good night," Ah Nin repeats.

Joey's heart pounds as she closes her phone. It was the first time she said the phrase "good night" to someone else besides her stuffed animals, father, and 7th sister. The call from Ah Nin was a most unexpected, but pleasant surprise. The moment Joey turns off the light from her lamps, her phone rings again. She thinks it is Ah Nin again and doesn't look at the caller ID. "Hello?" she says in a sweet tone.

The woman on the other end laughs, "Hearing your sugary voice lets me know that everything is well!"

Joey is embarrassed, "Who is this?"

"It's Mandy."

After thinking for a few seconds, Joey recalls who her caller is, "Oh, Mandy!"

"You remember me now?"

"I wouldn't forget the person who changed my life and sent me back to Hong Kong five months ago."

"So things are going well for you?" Mandy (Myolie Wu) questions.

"I guess so."

"Don't keep the good news to yourself. Tell me, are you and Chris married now?"

"Married? Oh, no! Far from it."

"What happened? I thought you went back to Hong Kong to find him and work things out."

Joey bites her bottom lip, "I was... but things didn't go as ideally as I had hoped."

"What happened?"

"I got into a car accident after I arrived from the airport and ended up the hospital. The good thing that came out of it was that I regained my memories. It turns out that the person I did love was Chris after all. When I went to find him, I was told that he went to Shanghai. When I got to Shanghai, I discovered that he had lost his memories and was engaged with another girl..."

"Oh my gosh! That's horrible!"

Joey sighs into the phone.

"So what are you going to do?"

"What can I do?" Joey stresses the word "can." "Chris doesn't remember me... not even a single recollection. Plus, he is engaged. There's nothing I can do. I suppose I should give up, but for some reason, I can't... Every time he talks to me or when I'm near him, I get so excited that I can't bear to give him up. I know it's wrong for me to think about him and want to be with him, especially when he's almost married, but I can't stop my heart from feeling what it's already feeling."

"Oh, Joey."

"Enough about my problems. I don't want to think about it. How are things with you?"

Mandy replies, "Just fine. I finally found my 'cup of tea.' I hope things work out for you Joey."

Joey chats with Mandy for the next couple of minutes, catching up with her life and filling in details about her own life. Mandy was interested in the situation with Ah Nin, but Joey kept telling her that she didn't want to talk about it. "I'll leave it up to fate," Joey says simply.

["Ka Yan" Company, Wong Sheung's Office]

Wong Sheung (Lau Dan) calls Man Gwai Fei (Stephanie Che) into his office. Gwai Fei greets him with a big smile, "Mr. Wong, good morning! It is such a lovely day and seeing your face only makes my day better." She winks at him.

Wong Sheung gets goose bumps looking at Gwai Fei and shudders. He orders, "Sit down!"

Gwai Fei playfully asks, "Where?"

"On your head on the floor!"

"What?!" Gwai Fei exclaims.

"On the chair! Where else?"

Gwai Fei blushes. She had mistaken that he was flirting with her. "Oh, I'm sorry."

Wong Sheung clears his throat and lays out some papers on his desk, "Athena, look at these numbers! They're the company's statistics for the past few months. Look at them closely and you will know why I called you in today."

Gwai Fei looks at the sheet of papers and smiles. She snaps her fingers, "I get it!"

"Do you?"

"Of course! You made it so clear, how could I not?"

Wong Sheung beams, "So what are you going to do now?"

"What day do you want the party to be held?" Gwai Fei inquires.

"Party? What are you talking about?"

"Look at these numbers! 'Ka Yan' has such great business! You want me to plan a celebration party, right?"

Wong Sheung smacks his forehead, "Athena! Look at the numbers closely! Look how yours compares with Chris' and Michelle's!"

"What? My numbers are decent!"

"Decent?" Wong Sheung scoffs. "They are so low compared to the business Michelle and Chris bring in!"

"Mr. Wong! At least I'm still bringing in business for the company!"

"Not good enough, Athena. I called you in today to give you a friendly warning." He motions for her to lean forward. Gwai Fei sticks out her ear and receives a shout from Wong Sheung, "Step up and do better! Trying is not good enough!"

Gwai Fei is so upset that she proclaims, "Don't you worry, Mr. Wong! I'm heading to Canada for a big contract!"

"Oh?"

"Yes! Rose and I will leave for Canada on a business trip tomorrow. You just wait for the good news and have your hand out and waiting for the big cash to flow in! I will prove that I'm as proficient as Chris and Michelle!" Gwai Fei slams the door on her way out.
